Meet Your Doula
My name is Linzy Mittleider.
I have always been fascinated by pregnancy and childbirth, but in the last few years, it has grown into a passion. I’ve been blessed to deliver seven children myself, so I’ve been through the highs and lows of childbirth and postpartum, including premature delivery resulting in the death of identical twin boys and two NICU stays. My own experiences combined with hearing others’ stories is what fueled my passion to support women in their pregnancy journeys. I’ve also battled postpartum anxiety and feelings of isolation after giving birth, so supporting women in their postpartum journey is equally important to me. I believe all women need and deserve the proper support in such a life-changing time, and it is a huge blessing to be able to provide that.

I have 5 beautiful children here with me, and 2 awaiting me in eternity with Jesus. My faith is an important part of my life, and I serve at an amazing Spirit-filled church. I have a cattle dog rescue named Fiona. My favorite hobbies are reading and cross-stitch. I love essential oils and try to do everything as naturally and holistically as I can. I love natural childbirth because there is such a sense of accomplishment afterwards. God created the female body to have children, and when we push our fear away and do it, it is an amazing thing to experience. However, one of the most beautiful things about this world is that we are all so different, and no matter what kind of birth you’re planning, you should have the support you deserve.

I used Linzy for the birth of my second baby and didn’t realize how valuable a doula can be until she joined my birthing team! She went above and beyond making the experience peaceful and relaxing (as much as a birth can be, especially with COVID factored in!)! Between home visits before baby to attending an appointment with me, Linzy was always very professional and made the experience leading up to birth effortless. During my unmedicated birth, Linzy guided me and hubby through alternative pain management solutions and calming techniques. And she had a Mary Poppins bag of goodies that continued to impress all throughout the experience! Not only is she a joy to be around, but she is also knowledgeable, unbiased, and willing to support you and your beliefs. Her services are worth every penny!
